Pre Conference!

Before everything, my deepest support and hopeful wishes to the victims of Tsunami. This natural disaster brought tears to my eyes and many others during our national congress. I wish, hope and pray the world will step up to the plate and continue to provide as much aid and relief effort as needed. This website is dedicated towards support by AIESECers towards Tsunami Relief and Aid http://www.aiesec-tsunami.org/. Those last 2 weeks have been an amazing roller coaster ride for me. It all started on the 26th of December. I headed to Toronto Airport on a non stop flight to Calgary. A journey that made me see things differently. As i arrived to the airport, i remembered that i had forgotten my suit. That only meant one thing, my first day in Calgary was all about shopping for a suit. I promised Bogdan, that with the help of Patricia we will go skating and maybe go to the hot sprigs in Banff. Somewhere it all didn’t work out, we went late to the hill and the hot springs were over crowded. We ended up going hiking after a gondola ride. This hike was one of the most mind relaxing hikes I have ever done. Going all the way to the cosmic ray station, some 2500 feet over sea level, was the most peaceful activity I have done in years. Peace and serenity on the middle of the rookies and on top of the world! On the 29th, some of us attended the pre conference National Sales Program. It was pretty cool to share ideas and stories with the countries top marketers and experience alumni. I have learned a tip or two during the training on how to improve my sales skills. I am looking forward to apply them in the Hammer. By the end of day 3 in Calgary, I noticed I spent almost every night partying till 3 or 4 in morning and being up for sessions by 7 in the morning. It was insane. Knowing that I had to do the same for another 7 nights was scary. But it didn’t stop me from partying. More details about NC in a few hours! Chef!
